The second reception room is semi-open-plan to the modern kitchen, which has ample eye and waist-level storage units, integrated washer/dryer and dishwasher, double Belfast sinks and water softener. The kitchen overlooks the pretty garden. There is a large under-stairs storage cupboard for vacuum cleaner, coats, etc. From the kitchen, the inner hallway takes you to the downstairs cloakroom, and has a new stable door to the patio and garden.

Upstairs, there are three good- size bedrooms, with the master bedroom benefiting from a built-in wardrobe. The third bedroom/study has a built-in cupboard with hanging rail. The bathroom has a raised P-shaped bath and overhead dual-control shower, pumped from the walk-in airing cupboard off the landing which has further storage and an immersion heater.

There is ample off-road parking on the property`s private driveway.

Location
Oakley is a popular village with a variety of local amenities and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village benefits from a mother and toddler group, pre-school, combined school, church, pub, village hall, with village shop behind that serves refreshments, playing fields, MUGA outdoor gym equipment, football pitch and an all-weather bowling green. There are clubs, societies and activities for all ages and interests. Allotments are a little way outside the village. Magnolia Park Golf and Country Club is a short drive away.

For a wider selection of amenities, the historic market town of Thame is about 5 miles away in South Oxfordshire. It has a good range of sporting facilities, pubs, cafés and restaurants, theatre/cinema and high street stores. Schooling in the area is excellent in both the public and private sectors and of particular note is that Buckinghamshire has retained its selective Grammar school system.
Further and more comprehensive facilities can be found in Oxford and Bicester, about 10 and 8 miles away respectively, and in Aylesbury, about 15 miles away. Haddenham and Thame railway station, served by the Chiltern Line provides a direct service to London Marylebone in approximately 42 minutes. Road and motorway links are within easy driving distance. Ultra-fast fibre in the village is available from BT and Gigaclear.
